WWE Smackdown Live preview and schedule: February 6, 2018

Bengaluru, February 6: As WWE Fastlane soon approaches our way, tonight’s Smackdown is expected to be a massive one with two big matches that have been confirmed to take place, the first match would be contested between two best friends.

Plus, there will be a number one contender’s match to set up the main event of Fastlane PPV on Smackdown Live along with a big championship match to make the card a stacked one at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Live telecast of the episode in India is available via Sony TEN 1 on Wednesday (February 7) at 6.30 AM with the repeat telecast later in the day on the same network at 5 PM and 10 PM.

The main event of the night will take place between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens who have been best friends on the show for the past few months. With last week’s announcement of this match and the further fallouts there has been a huge split in their relationship. Plus, with a championship opportunity at stake, they will erase their past to grab the opportunity.

Check out how prediction from WWE.com on this contest,

“Zayn said that it wasn’t, but that this was his time to shine. He declared that after next week, he won’t be known as simply “Kevin Owens’ best friend;” he’ll be known as the guy who beat Kevin Owens and became WWE Champion at WWE Fastlane. Will Zayn’s predictions come true?”

Zayn is the favorite to win this match as Styles has battled Owens multiple times in the recent past which is why the officials will look to avoid a repeat. Instead, they are expected to give the first singles WWE Championship match to the underdog from the underground.

In the other blockbuster match, Bobby Roode will face the new number one contender for the United States Championship, Rusev. Last week, the Bulgarian Brute won the fatal-4-way match with a thunderous reaction from the crowd. Although Rusev Day continues to grow strong, at this time, the Glorious One is not likely to drop the title after winning it only a couple of weeks ago.

The Smackdown women’s championship picture is still unclear as Charlotte Flair still doesn't have an opponent right now. For now, we can expect a multi-woman title match to be announced for the Fastlane PPV considering both Ruby Riott and Becky Lynch are gunning for the contender’s spot. A singles match was set up between Charlotte and Liv Morgan on tonight’s show.

The Usos are still waiting for the next challenge in line for them which should turn out to be none other than the Bludgeon Brothers after last week’s face-off. Elsewhere, a multi-man tag team championship might be arranged on tonight's Smackdown Live.
