WWE Smackdown Live preview & schedule: September 12, 2017

Bengaluru, September 12: WWE Smackdown has come up with a grand idea to fill up the long gap between the bygone and upcoming PPV and there is still a long way to go for the Hell in a Cell PPV.
Tonight will mark a special episode which is named as the Sin City Smackdown Live with the return of Mr. McMahon and three championship matches, the stakes are an all-time high.
The episode will be hosted live by the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In India, this edition will be telecasted live on the Sony Ten 1 Network from 5.30 AM IST onwards on Wednesday (September 13). The repeat telecast will be aired at 5 PM and 10 PM IST on Sony Ten 1 Network.
It’s a rare occasion in Smackdown history since Vince McMahon will make his presence felt on the show after a long time. The bad blood between his son, Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens has reached to a whole new height. As a result, we have seen the suspension of Shane from his duties, last week.
This time around, the Chairman is supposed to make an announcement regarding Shane’s future as the commissioner of the show. According to rumors, a Hell in a Cell match between Shane and Owens will be set up in October. Plus, his position might be reinstated after the announcement.
There will be a Sin City street fight between The Usos and The New Day for the tag team titles. With this stipulation around, the match between these two veteran tag teams is certainly going to steal the show. In the end, the Usos are expected to hold on to the belts as they just won the title at Summerslam PPV.
Another championship match was announced for the United States Championship. The champion himself offered a match to Tye Dillinger after being impressed by him last week. However, there are chances that Baron Corbin will make his presence felt in between the match and the contest might get disqualified.
Plus, the third title match will be contested between Natalya and Naomi that was confirmed two weeks earlier. There are chances that Miss Money in the Bank, Carmella might cash in the briefcase once both the participants are gassed out.
Meanwhile, Jinder Mahal vs. Nakamura matchup has been confirmed for the Hell in a Cell PPV and it will be fought for the WWE championship. So, the rivalry is expected to heat up. The same can be said for Randy Orton and Rusev too, who are supposed to go against each other at the event.
