Louisville, April 19: This was the first episode of Smackdown Live after some drastic changes were made to it during last week's Superstar Shakeup.

With a number of changes on both the male and female roster, we expected to shake things up on the 'land of opportunity' as the show came live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Here are the results:

Charlotte opened up the show demanding a championship opportunity on Smackdown Live. The women's champion Naomi showed up to start a brawl inside the ring.

Shane McMahon appeared on the ramp to announce a match between the two of them. If Charlotte wins, she will get a title shot.

A six-way challenge match took place with Sami Zayn Vs Luke Harper Vs Dolph Ziggler Vs Erick Rowan Vs Mojo Rawley Vs Jinder Mahal.

The winner would get a WWE title shot in the future. Quite surprisingly, Jinder Mahal won the contest via a slam to Sami Zayn.

Following the contest, Jinder cut a promo about getting the championship opportunity. The reigning champion, Randy Orton showed up to interrupt.

He intended to deliver an RKO to Jinder but Bray Wyatt appeared on the tron to send a message to Randy and closed the segment.

Charlotte competed against Naomi to earn the contender's spot. The Queen emerged victorious, as expected by hitting the Natural Selection on the champion.

By virtue of this win, she earned the right to face Naomi in a title match, next week.

The Shining Stars were reintroduced on Smackdown Live as the Colons. They started their journey on the blue brand with a win against the American Alpha.

Kevin Owens issued an open challenge to defend his US championship. A local competitor named Gary Gandy accepted it.

The matchup was short as Owens delivered a quick pop-up powerbomb retain his title. He then joined the commentary table for the main event of the night.

AJ Styles faced Baron Corbin in a singles contest. A brawl broke out in the ending segment of the match as Corbin sent Styles straight onto Owens' chair.

Styles managed to come back and send Corbin into the crowd with a forearm.

The referee reached the 10 count to let AJ win the match via disqualification. Smackdown ended with Styles celebrating inside the ring.
