WWE Smackdown Live results with video highlights: December 13

Washington, Dec 14: Last night's Smackdown took place from the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. We had a great night where we get to know the fate of the tag team championship and WWE championship in the future.

The night kicked off with Shane McMahon putting Ellsworth out of the building and postponing his championship opportunity.

We go to the main show with the Miz TV and the AJ Styles was the special guest on it. They had a heated confrontation when The Miz claimed that he deserved a WWE championship opportunity.

They got cut by Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler and Luke Harper from the Wyatt family. A huge brawl broke out inside the ring.

With what happened during this segment, Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon announced that there will be a Fatal-4-way elimination match on the main event of Smackdown to determine the number one contender for the WWE championship. It will feature Ambrose, Ziggler, Harper and the Miz.



The Miz was the first one to get eliminated. But he was standing outside the ring to provide the distraction. After Harper got eliminated, he tried to screw both Ambrose and Ziggler.

The show-off took the upper-hand by delivering the super-kick and becoming the number one contender. He will face AJ Styles for the WWE championship on December 27th edition of Smackdown Live.

Alexa Bliss came out to cut a promo but Becky Lynch interrupted to demand her rematch for the title. Shane McMahon arranged the match and we got a title match on the night.

Bliss got herself counted out faking an ankle injury. Becky got retribution by attacking her after the match.

The Hype bros became the number one contender for the Smackdown tag team title in a battle royal. Carmella squared off against Natalya from last week's scheduled match.

Nikki Bella was present at ringside and Nattie tried to convince her multiple times pleading that she did not attack her. However, this cost her, the match.
