Bengaluru, December 20: After the Clash of Champions event which was the last PPV of 2017, we expected to see huge fallouts from the show on last night’s Smackdown Live.

Since most of the champions retained their titles on the night, we expected to see new feuds kick-off with regard to the titles on the show hosted at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Daniel Bryan welcomed the fans to this week's Smackdown Live while addressing the controversies from Clash of Champions. He was soon cut short by the commissioner Shane McMahon who started to confront the GM. Bryan pointed out that Shane should never intend to fire the heels as it would make him look like Vince McMahon. The commissioner soon dropped the mic and walked away.

The Usos competed in a tag team match against Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable who delivered a solid contest. There were multiple high spots in the match which ended with a double takedown by Gable-Benjamin to pin the champions.

Charlotte Flair cut a promo on the upcoming Royal Rumble match for the women's division and promised to retain her title so that she can defend it at Wrestlemania. Naomi interrupted her claiming that she is entering the Rumble match and will win it to challenge her at the grandest stage of them all. The conversation was later cut short by The Riott Squad.

The heel team wanted to deliver an attack but Naomi proposed a tag team match. So, Charlotte and Naomi teamed up to take on Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan. Liv Morgan went for a sneak attack but hit her own partner, Logan instead, which allowed Naomi to hit the rear-view and pick up the win.

Dolph Ziggler appeared to cut a promo in front of the crowd. The fans gave him a well-deserved ovation as he stood proud as the two time United States Champion. He went on to showcase his accomplishments from his illustrious career with some videos and said he is too good to waste his time with these fans and left the ring.

The New Day and Rusev-Aiden English had a backstage segment to set up an impromptu matchup with Christmas costumes on. It was an entertaining match where English was smashed with pancakes all over his face and digested a flying elbow to suffer a pinfall loss.

In the main event of the night, a huge six-man tag team match took place where AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura teamed up against Jinder Mahal, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Orton delivered a double-DDT to the Singh Brothers and Nakamura connected with the Kinshasa to pick up the win to end the show.
