California, Feb 15: A huge WWE championship match was scheduled to take place on last night's Smackdown. After John Cena lost his title to Bray Wyatt, he was handed a rematch for the same.

We were also supposed to see some major fallout from Sunday's Elimination Chamber PPV. Take a look at the results from the show that took place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The night kicked off with the new WWE champion Bray Wyatt stepping in as a loud “You deserve it" chant broke out in the arena.

He reminded the crowd that it's the Era of Wyatt. But, John Cena came out to interrupt reminding him the rematch for the WWE title that was scheduled for the night.

AJ Styles interrupted further claiming his own rematch for the title. Due to this, Smackdown GM converted the title match into a triple threat match for the main event of the night.

American Alpha continued with their momentum as they defeated the Ascension with their finishing maneuver, Grand Amplitude.



At backstage, Baron Corbin attacked Dean Ambrose and beat him down so bad that he was needed to be taken to the medical facility.

Corbin said that it was due to him that he was eliminated from Elimination Chamber and he's got no choice but to seek revenge.

Natalya continued her assault on Nikki Bella causing frustration for the Smackdown GM. So, he arranged a Falls Count Anywhere match between these two for next week.



Mickie James got the rematch from Elimination Chamber and capitalized with a dirty trick. The referee was looking to stop the match after Mickie pretended to be injured but instead, she connected with a big kick to pin Becky.





Naomi was out for her title celebration but interrupted by the former champ, Alexa Bliss who gave her one week to prepare for defending the title on Smackdown.





Prior to the main title match, Luke Harper attacked Bray Wyatt from behind. But he was able to compete in the match and defend his title successfully by hitting a sister Abigail on Cena.

After the match, Randy Orton came out and stated as long as he is serving as the Wyatt family member, he refuses to face Wyatt at Wrestlemania. The show was closed with this bizarre announcement.
