Bengaluru, February 21: The WWE Champion returned on last night's episode of Smackdown Live after a week's break to let his view known about the odds being heavily stacked against him at Fastlane PPV.

Plus, there was a huge six-woman tag team match in the main event match of the show hosted by the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

Smackdown kicked off with an interview of the returning AJ Styles hosted by Renee Young. This segment was cut short by Baron Corbin who walked out to claim that he will win the WWE Championship at Fastlane.

Later another contestant of the fatal-5-way at Fastlane, Kevin Owens joined them to stamp his claim at the PPV main event, which led Shane McMahon to announce a couple of matches.

The first match set was between Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens. Ziggler hit the zig-zag on the heel superstar but failed to get the pinfall. Owens also tried to hit the pop-up powerbomb but did not succeed.

Later, Sami Zayn showed up providing the distraction allowing Owens to hit the superkick and pick up the pinfall win.

Jinder Mahal came out on Smackdown to cut a promo on Bobby Roode and the US title. The champion came out to discuss the situation. Randy Orton also joined them allowing Roode to attack Mahal and Sunil Singh. He also planted Orton with a Glorious DDT. But, Mahal counter attacked and planted Roode with the Khallas to end the segment.

Charlotte Flair, Naomi, and Becky Lynch teamed up against Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott in the huge six-woman tag team match. Charlotte controlled the early part of the match before tagging in Becky Lynch. She was rolling, too but Sarah Logan provided the distraction allowing Riott to hit a kick to get the pinfall win.

The New Day had a tag team contest against Chad Gable-Shelton Benjamin to become the number one contender. The latter mentioned team hit the finishing move but Xavier Woods broke the pinfall attempt. Then he connected with a knee to Benjamin to pick up the win. The Bludgeon Brothers had a dominant showdown against two local talents.

In the main event of Smackdown Live, AJ Styles had a singles contest against Baron Corbin who was on the verge to win with a Deep-six. But, Styles countered with the Styles Clash and followed it up with a forearm to get the win. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn ran down to deliver an attack but Corbin hit End of Days to both of them to close the show.
