WWE SmackDown: Money in the Bank briefcase and Undisputed Champion destroyed

Just weeks before the annual SummerSlam event, WWE SmackDown delivered their latest bygone installment where utter chaos followed thanks to the WWE Women's Champion and The Bloodline led by the new leader, Solo Sikoa.

In a mid-segment of SmackDown July 19 episode, "Michin" Mia Yim defeated the 2024 WWE Women's Money in the Bank winner Tiffany Stratton in a singles contest after Bayley appeared at ringside and caused a distraction.

With Nia Jax standing by her side, Stratton was in control of the match as Jax stopped a suicide dive attempt from Michin. Stratton hit her opponent with a rolling senton when Bayley came out and attacked Jax with the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The WWE Women's Champion then broke the briefcase from its hinges with a stomp on the ground to destroy it. Amid this happening, Michin was able to roll up Stratton and secure a win over Stratton.

Earlier on SmackDown, a sit-down interview between Bayley and her WWE SummerSlam challenger Nia Jax aired. Stratton and Jax have formed an alliance heading into the PLE and Bayley is trying to cut the knot by any means.

This caused her to come out on SmackDown and help Michin to pick up her first-ever singles loss on WWE's main roster television. Next week, Michin and Bayley will feature in a tag team match against Jax and Stratton.

Further destruction followed after the main event match of SmackDown where the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and his mystery tag team partner Cody Rhodes defeated former WWE Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under, Austin Theory & Grayson Waller.

The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Jacob Fatu attacked Cody and Owens once the match was over. Sikoa and Tonga held Cody and forced him to watch as Jacob Fatu was beating down Owens.

Fatu and Tanga wrapped a Steel Chair around Owens' neck and threw him into the ring post. The Bloodline then powerbomb-ed Cody through the announce table and raised their fingers in their signature pose to send SmackDown off the air.
