WWE SmackDown: Multiple matches announced for WrestleMania 40 go-home episode

The annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is returning and it will be amongst the various matches and segments set for the WrestleMania 40 go-home edition of WWE SmackDown set for next Friday night.

During the latest bygone episode of SmackDown, it was revealed that the 10th Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will be conducted on Friday, April 5. No participants for the match have been confirmed alongside the announcement.

The tradition of hosting Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal began in 2014, annually on WrestleMania weekend every year except for 2020. From 2021 onward, it has been held on the final SmackDown before WrestleMania, each year.

In another big announcement for next week, Jey Uso will face brother Solo Sikoa on SmackDown. Sikoa is currently taking orders from Roman Reigns to take Jey out before his scheduled WrestleMania matchup against brother Jimmy Uso, according to a promo segment.

After months of sharing physical tensions, an all-out brawl between LWO and Legado Del Fantasma broke out on SmackDown. As a result, the two respective members of the group, Zelina Vega and Electra Lopez will face each other in a one-on-one showdown.

In the tag team division, the two teams that qualified for the six-pack tag team ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on SmackDown, New Catch Republic, and Austin Theory & Grayson Waller will collide in a tag encounter.

Additionally, Kevin Owens will be back with 'The Kevin Owens Show' with his guest being Randy Orton before they challenge United States Champion Logan Paul in a triple threat match. At a glance, the confirmed card for WrestleMania 40 go-home SmackDown goes as follows:
