Proving the ongoing speculations true, a new mid-card title has been introduced for the WWE women's roster in the form of the women's United States Championship during the latest bygone episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
The general manager of WWE SmackDown, Nick Aldis introduced the WWE Women's United States Championship through a vignette, declaring the belt's introduction would add new opportunities for the WWE women's divisions as they continue to "shatter glass ceilings."

Aldis further noted in the vignette that the title will not be handed out, but rather one competitor will seize the opportunity and become the inaugural Women's United States Champion. Details regarding the championship crowning process are yet to be revealed.
SmackDown commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves further mentioned the prestige of the men's United States Title and how Hall of Famers from Harley Race to the legendary John Cena have held it to cement their legacies.
As we wait for the inaugural women's US Champion, WWE might crown a new Women's Champion on next week's SmackDown as the belt will be on the line in a singles encounter where the reigning champion Nia Jax defends against Naomi.
Last night on SmackDown, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill defeated WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax & Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton in a non-title tag team match via interference from Naomi.
Candice LeRae first intervened in the match to help Nia, but Naomi took her out to provide distraction for the heels. The finish saw Belair hitting the KOD finisher on Tiffany for the pin-fall victory.
WWE Tag Team Championships will also be on the line on SmackDown, next week as the champions, Motor City Machine Guns will defend their titles against The Street Profits. The Profits issued a challenge to MCMG in a backstage segment to set up the match.
The November 15 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown takes place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The confirmed card for the show includes two championship matches which go as follows:
