WrestleMania 41's anticipation reached fever pitch following an electrifying SmackDown at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The arena was buzzing as fans were treated to a spectacle that promised an unforgettable weekend of wrestling in Las Vegas.

Highlights of the night included a high-stakes Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a significant title match, and a fiery exchange between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, signaling an intense showdown awaited at the grand stage of WrestleMania.

Also, the Women's championship contestants delivered an explosive promo before two other women on the roster collided in a one-on-one contest. Plus, Randy Orton continued his quest to get an opponent for WrestleMania 41. Here is a look at the final results followed by the recap:

WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 41 Recap

The evening kicked off with Seth Rollins mirroring CM Punk's iconic sitting pose in the ring, where he vehemently criticized his upcoming opponents, CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

Rollins reminisced about their shared history, thanks to Paul Heyman, and declared his intent to triumph over the duo, thereby "saving" the future of wrestling. This bold proclamation set a combative mood for the evening, hinting at the fierce battles that lay ahead.

Unforgettable Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Among the evening's highlights was the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, featuring 26 competitors from both RAW and SmackDown vying for supremacy. The match was a whirlwind of action, with superstars being ejected from the ring in quick succession.

The final showdown saw Shinsuke Nakamura, Andrade El Idolo, Carmelo, and Rey Fenix battling for glory. Andrade demonstrated his prowess by eliminating Nakamura, followed by a surprising appearance from El Grande Americano, who ousted Rey Fenix, leaving the crowd in awe.

Andrade and Hayes were left as the final two. And the longtime rivals gave it their all, as Hayes dumped Andrade over the top rope to etch his name into history to become the 11th winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Explosive Women's Segment & a one-on-one match

The women's division also made its mark with Rhea Ripley discussing her triple-threat match for the WWE Women's World Championship at WrestleMania 41. The segment heated up with the arrival of IYO Sky, Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Jade Cargill, culminating in a chaotic brawl that underscored the fierce competition and personal rivalries heading into WrestleMania.

The night also featured a match between Chelsea Green and Zelina Vega in a non-title bout that captivated the audience. Vega emerged victorious in a stunning fashion, securing a pinfall over Green, thanks to a perfectly executed top rope Super Code Red.

Tag Team Title on the line!

In tag team action, Motor City Machine Guns faced off against The Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a match that showcased the skill and teamwork of both teams. The match, however, ended in disarray as DIY interfered, attacking both teams and making a bold statement by absconding with the tag team titles.

Orton's WrestleMania Ambition

Randy Orton made a memorable appearance, proclaiming his intent to compete at WrestleMania 41, marking his 20th appearance at the event. His declaration was met with enthusiastic support from the crowd, who were eager to see The Viper in action at "The Show of Shows."

Tag Team Thrills

The tag team scene saw further action as LA Knight and Braun Strowman teamed up against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The match, initiated after a tense brawl, saw LA Knight and Strowman emerge victorious, further stirring the competitive spirit in the tag team division with GM Nick Aldis spontaneously setting the match.

Another exciting match saw LWO go head-to-head with American Made in a six-man tag team match. The contest was filled with high-flying moves and tight teamwork, culminating in Rey Fenix securing a win for his team with a stunning Meteora from the top rope on Julius Creed.

John Cena-Cody Rhodes Face-Off

The night ended on a high note with a tense segment between John Cena and Cody Rhodes. Cena didn't hold back, criticizing Rhodes for his past decisions and questioning his readiness for WrestleMania.

Rhodes retorted by challenging Cena's legacy and physical condition, leading to a heated exchange that ended with Cena attempting an AA, only for Rhodes to counter with a Cross Rhodes, setting the stage for a highly anticipated showdown.

As SmackDown concluded, fans were left buzzing with excitement for WrestleMania 41, promising an event filled with memorable moments, fierce rivalries, and spectacular wrestling action.
