WWE SmackDown: Roman Reigns reportedly set for multiple future appearances?

Following the earth-shattering return at SummerSlam, last weekend, Roman Reigns is set to appear in back-to-back episodes of SmackDown which suggests that his comeback wasn't for just a one-off outing on WWE programme.

WWE has already confirmed that Roman Reigns is slated to take over the Island of Relevancy on this week's SmackDown which takes place at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Besides, he's now been advertised in another appearance.

The KIA Center in Orlando, Florida announced last night that the former undisputed champion will be in the building for the Friday, August 16 episode of SmackDown. There's no update if these two show-ups will lead him to a match at Bash at Berlin PLE.

After remaining absent from WWE TV for more than four months, the top superstar returned at Summerslam during the main event match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa and then took out the self-appointed Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.

This returning moment eventually went on to become the biggest SummerSlam social media moment ever in history by garnering more than 100 million views across different platforms. A special 1,316 Days Signature Series Undisputed Championship Title Belt was also unveiled to commemorate the return.

Only 1316 belts were released on WWE Shop that night to celebrate Reigns' historic title run that lasted for that many days and the merchandise was out of stock within just two hours.

According to the reports of Fightful Select, WWE Officials are expecting the returnee to do insane merch sales numbers, moving forward especially after the custom championship belts were sold out within a couple of hours after his return.

Each belt was available for $600, and hence the merchandise brought in almost $800,000 in revenue in just a few hours. WWE Officials now expect these numbers to rise even more with his new OTC (Original Tribal Chief) babyface run.

Scheduled for tonight's SmackDown, Roman Reigns is expected to address Solo Sikoa introducing a new version of The Bloodline after kicking out Jimmy Uso and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman when he was gone from the scene.
