Starting next week, WWE SmackDown will find a new home on the USA Network for the coming five years and the journey will kick off with a big WWE title match to be contested under a No-Disqualification capacity.
As announced on the final SmackDown on FOX episode, last night, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship inside a Steel Cage on the season premiere episode on the USA Network.

Rumours about this title defense were already out heading into the weekly show and it was further confirmed by SmackDown general manager Adal Pearce that The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa would get a rematch against Cody, next Friday night.
The reigning Undisputed WWE Champion kicked off this week's SmackDown and reminded everyone of his victory against Kevin Owens at Bash In Berlin. Sikoa interrupted and demanded a rematch from Cody.
This came after Roman Reigns returned during their match at SummerSlam and ensured Cody's win. The Bloodline eventually started attacking the champion, prompting The Street Profits and DIY to come out for the save.
Aldis thereafter confirmed Cody vs. Sikoa for the next episode of SmackDown which will also have another match on the card to possibly determine the next contender for the United States Championship.
The series between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade will continue with another singles match. The duo currently has a 2-2 score in their previous four singles meetings in recent months and all their matches went down on the weekly episode of SmackDown.
Going by the recent happenings, the winner of this rubber match between the two will get a shot at LA Knight's United States Championship, although the official announcement regarding this is yet to be made.
Also, after defeating A-Town Down Under in a triple threat, Kevin Owens will find a mystery partner to take on the duo in a tag match on the September 13 episode that takes place at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. The current card goes as follows:
