At Bad Blood, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event match after which The Rock made his return to WWE programming just to share a staredown with the two winners.

In the latest update for SmackDown, WWE has confirmed that LA Knight will defend his United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes, the current number-one contender for the title, on this week's episode.
Hayes earned the title shot after securing a big win over AJ Styles last Friday. LA Knight promised Hayes the title opportunity if he could defeat Styles. Ultimately, Hayes was victorious via referee stoppage due to Styles' injury.
Hayes' celebration was short-lived as LA Knight attacked him with a BFT after the match. Following this, Hayes has also been advertised to meet the SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis on tonight's show.
Another title match was previously confirmed for SmackDown during this past Wednesday's episode of NXT where the Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were booked for their next title defense against Meta-Four's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
