Bengaluru, March 6: The landscape of the WWE Smackdown Live turned upside down, last week with the arrival of the franchise player of the company.

The main event of the Fastlane PPV was made even bigger with the inclusion of John Cena and it is now being made a six-pack challenge for the WWE Championship.

With that being said, tonight's Smackdown Live is the penultimate episode of the show before Fastlane PPV which has three huge matches on the card and the show is set to be hosted by the RESCH Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The live telecast of the episode will be available via Sony Ten 1 Network (English) and Sony Ten 3 (Hindi) on Wednesday (March 7) from 6.30 AM onwards. The repeat will be telecasted later that day on the same network at 5 PM and 10 PM.

Tonight will definitely mark the final hype around the huge six-pack WWE Championship match at the Fastlane PPV. Last week, John Cena defeated AJ Styles to earn his opportunity for the title match. So, the champion is supposed to speak out his mind heading into the title defense where all the odds are stacked against him.

Meanwhile, we can expect to see all the contenders trying to keep the momentum on their side by engaging in competition. The WWE Champion will try to bring back the momentum on his side when he squares off against one of the members of the six-pack challenge. It will be AJ Styles up against Dolph Ziggler in a singles contest.

The women’s title picture has featured Charlotte Flair and the Riott Squad for a while now. The leader of the faction has received a chance to face the champion for the title at Fastlane. So, she would like to deliver one final statement to the Queen of the brand when they go face to face on Smackdown Live.

Plus, there’s a match already confirmed to happen on the show. The Money in the Bank briefcase holder, Carmella will return to the show after a hiatus of several weeks. She is scheduled to feature in a singles match against Becky Lynch after the pair had a confrontation at the backstage area.

There might be some slight changes in the United States Championship picture. Jinder Mahal should be booked in this match as he made his presence felt in the title scene on numerous occasions. He should get included in the title match which already consists of Randy Orton and Bobby Roode. Mahal would also compete on the show in a singles contest against Randy Orton.

Rumours also suggest that there would be a change in the Smackdown tag team championship match at Fastlane which might include The Bludgeon Brothers. We will see whether that change happens or not in tonight’s episode of Smackdown.
