WWE Premium Live Event returns to the United States for the first time since WrestleMania 39 as Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown present the WWE SummerSlam 2023 PLE this weekend.
The 36th edition of the SummerSlam, dubbed "The Biggest Party of the Summer," sees the PLE return to it's original slot of August after the event was held in July last year. One of the original pay-per-view of the promotion will feature high calibre matches.

The PLE will be headlined by a Tribal Combat match that will see Jey Uso look to dethrone the most dominant champion of the modern era, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and also look to claim the spot of the Tribal Chief.
Also, another marquee matchup sees Cody Rhodes once again lock horns with Brock Lesnar in a rubber match after the scores are even following their wins in the previous two meetings.
Apart from the undisputed Universal title match, several other title bouts including the Women's Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship matches will take place at the event.
Seth "Freakin" Rollins will defend the World Heavyweight title against Finn Balor, while Asuka puts the Women's title on the line against Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair in a triple threat contest, and Gunther defends the Intercontinental title against Drew McIntyre.
Meanwhile, friends turned foes face off as Ronda Rousey takes on Shayna Baszler, battle in a MMA rules match, and the card will also feature a SummerSlam battle royal for which the participants will be known at the event and the lead up to the event.
The event will also feature a star attractions as Logan Paul will be involved in SummerSlam for the second year in the running as the celebrity star faces Ricochet in a one-on-one match. Here is all you need to know about WWE SummerSlam 2023:
The event is set to take place on Saturday (August 5) at the Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. However, due to time difference, the event will take place on Sunday (August 6) morning in India.
The event starts with the kick off show at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET followed by the main show at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET (Saturday, August 5) | 12 AM GMT (Sunday, August 6). In India, the telecast will start with the main show from 5:30 AM IST (Sunday, August 6).
In India, Sony Pictures Sports Network will show the event on Sony Sports TEN 1 (English), Sony Sports TEN 3 (Hindi) and Sony Sports TEN 4 (Regional) from 5:30 AM IST on Sunday (August 6), while Sony LIV will live stream the PLE.
In the US, NBC's Peacock streaming service is the destination for viewers and if you are outside of the US, you can watch SummerSlam 2023 on the WWE Network as usual.
