WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair grabs horror movie role amid 2024 hiatus

Charlotte Flair was originally supposed to feature in a big match at WrestleMania XL but she had to be opted out of the card thanks to an injury. As the hiatus continues for the same, she's set to explore a new venture.

Carlos 'Spiff TV' Suarez has written a horror/thriller titled 'You Lose You Die,' and the star cast will have Charlotte Flair on board. According to the reports of Deadline, the WWE Superstar will be seen in the indie project by Averted Vision Pictures alongside Freddy Rodriguez.

"You Lose You Die follows sociopathic tech expert, Mr. Fantastik (Rodriguez), who runs a popular show on the dark web with two other sociopathic tech experts, Ms. Perfect (Ashley Fliehr aka Charlotte Flair) and Mr. Creep (Anthony Alvarez)."

Currently, the project is in the preproduction stage and there's no update on when it will go to the floors. The updates suggest that this movie will be based on a game show featuring thousands of viewers.

They will vote on games and challenges for prisoners to participate in. If the prisoners lose, viewers will vote on the weapons the sociopaths will use to kill them. The plot suggests that it will be a dark genre movie.

This isn't the first film featuring Charlotte Flair who previously made her silver screen debut in 2017 with 'Psych: The Movie.' The bonafide star power from pro wrestling also aspires to be an actress once she retires from in-ring competition.

It was on the December 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown where Charlotte Flair faced off Asuka in a singles contest, and unfortunately botched a top rope move to suffer a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus.

To fix things up, the 14-time Women's Champion also had to undergo surgery at the beginning of this year and she will expectedly require around six months at least to be back in shape for wrestling.
