Bengaluru, November 30: Various names from football, tennis and other sports have tried their hands at cricket. We have seen names like Roger Federer and Usain Bolt try their luck with a cricket bat and ball, now its time for WWE Superstar John Cena to join the league.

The franchise player of the company was seen enjoying a cricket session at the Sydney ground with none other than former Australian cricketer, Shane Watson.

The all-rounder tweeted out stating, ''Awesome day with @JohnCena. Only the best bats for this champion! @sg_cricket @ThunderBBL” to share the moment whereas we received numerous other moments between these two on the social media, afterward.

It looks like John Cena has had a good session with Shane as he was able to smash a ball out of the park, as well. Later, he shared his experience with a funny tweet which said,

''Read some #Ferdinand, played some Cricket (poorly) and had a great time the past few days in Sydney until the teacher took attendance in class and I was marked absent...''

At this point, the 16-time world champion is quite busy in a promotion spree for his upcoming movie, Ferdinand. It is an animatied movie where John Cena has lent his voice to the lead character of a bull. The film is expected hit theatres in the USA on December 15th.

Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect was present in Australia for the same purpose. The Indian fans were quite overwhelmed to see their favorite WWE Superstar enjoying a cricket session as the tweets went viral in the subcontinent. They are also preparing for the upcoming live event hosted by the WWE in December.

Although John Cena will not be present in the tour, his absence will be made up with the likes of Roman Reigns, Triple H and the home-country favorite, Jinder Mahal. The main event will witness the latter duo locking horns in the biggest main event in the history of our country. The show will be hosted at the IGI stadium in New Delhi.
