WWE is set to host an event on Indian soil for the first time since 2017 in the form of WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023, which will be held at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium), Hyderabad, India, on Friday, September 8, 2023.

The event is part of a five-year deal signed by the company with Sony Pictures Networks India to produce content for WWE's Indian market. This is also the second Superstar Spectacle event, but the first one was held in the U.S. due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like last time, the live event will once again feature superstars from the Raw and SmackDown brand as well as Indian decent stars. In 2021, several Indian origin wrestlers took on top names like Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre among others.

Superstar Spectacle 2023 will also see some big names with the legend John Cena set to wrestle in India for the very first time in the potential headliner, where the former champion is expected to team up with the current World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins.

Cena and Rollins will face Imperium - Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser in a tag team matchup, as per reports. Similarly, Indian-origin superstar and former WWE champion Jinder Mahal is also likely to make an appearance. Here is all you need to know about WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023:

What time is WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event starting?

The event is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM IST on Friday (September 8). Due to time difference, the event will start around 7 AM PT, 10 AM ET and 2 PM GMT.

How to watch WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 event?

It's still unclear if WWE plans to show this event worldwide or if it will treat it as a live event. Last time in 2021, the event was shown live in India as it was held in the US behind closed doors. The event was shown on Sony Sports Network.

This time the event may be available as live streaming option via Sony LIV for premium subscribers or WWE pack subscribers on the OTT platform of Sony Pictures Network.

Superstars Confirmed For WWE India Event

Apart from these aforementioned superstars, the likes of Drew McIntyre, Matt Riddle, Shanky and Bron Breakker have also been advertised to make an appearance at the event. So, there is a chance these superstars also will be in action in Hyderabad.
