WWE Survivor Series 2024: CM Punk Returns To Be Added To WarGames Match Lineup

Two massive returns occurred on the latest bygone episode of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network that changed the entire complexion of the upcoming Men's WarGames Match set for the annual Survivor Series event.

In the main event segment of the November 22 episode, another confrontation segment between the OG Bloodline and Solo Sikoa's new Bloodline went down where Sioka threatened Roman Reigns to join his side.

This also came after a backstage segment where Roman Reigns turned down the idea of Cody Rhodes or Seth Rollins being the 5th member of his team for the WarGames match. He also said the following to his OG Bloodline: "If we die, we die. We die together though."

To make things interesting, Paul Heyman came out in the finishing sequence of SmackDown and revealed it wasn't going to be a 4 vs. 5 scenario at Survivor Series, as Roman's team had a fifth member.

CM Punk's music hit the arena as he joined Roman's side to complete his team. Punk and the OG Bloodline took out Solo's Bloodline and Bronson Reed as Zayn and The Usos dived to the outside.

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa further wanted to further attack Reigns and Punk, but they were taken out. SmackDown ended with Punk and Roman sharing a staredown creating a surreal moment for the fans.

Punk has now made his return after taking a break following his Hell in a Cell win over Drew McIntyre. Heyman was also out of TV since getting taken out by Sikoa's Bloodline during WWE's last visit to Madison Square Garden in June.

The 2024 Survivor Series will be the final WWE premium live event of the year which takes place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Saturday, November 30. The current match card for the show is given below:
