WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023 came to stunning conclusion as CM Punk made his return after Team Orton sealed the victory in the main event of the premium live event (PLE) at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois on Saturday (November 25).

In the main event of Survivor Series 2023, the team of Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso defeated the Judgement Day and Drew McIntyre in the men's WarGames match.

Orton, who was a major doubt for the matchup, joined his team as he hit an RKO on Dominik Mysterio before Rollins and Zayn threw McDonagh off the top of the structure to Orton, who perfectly timed an almighty RKO. Rhodes then hit the Cross Rhodes on Priest to capture the win for his team.

Moments after the main eventers celebrated their win, CM Punk suddenly returned to WWE, causing the WWE Universe in Chicago to erupt into a frenzy, making the upcoming edition of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown interesting.

In the women's WarGames match, the team of Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair and Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL - Bayley, Asuka, Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky in a four-on-four contest that opened the even.

Also during the PLE, two titles were defended successfully as Rhea Ripley and Gunther defeated Zoey Stary and the Miz respectively to retain the Women's World Championship and the Intercontinental Championship.

In another one-on-one matchup that saw a late change in a fighter, Dragon Lee, who stepped in to replace Carlito, suffered a loss to Santos Escobar in a battle between members of the LWO faction.
