WWE returns to Vancouver this weekend to host the Survivor Series WarGames 2024, the penultimate premium live event (PLE) of the year, featuring the Superstars from Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.
The second longest running pay-per-view behind WrestleMania, Survivor Series is traditionally characterized by having brand vs brand tag team elimination matches. The 38th edition, however, will see the continuation of last two years' gimmick based match - WarGames.

The third Survivor Series event to take place on a Saturday, will be headlined by two WarGames matches - one featuring the company's men Superstars and the other the women Superstars. Both matches will be based on story-lined rivalry.
In the men's WarGames match, the original Bloodline of Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and CM Punk join forces against the new Bloodline of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and "Big" Bronson Reed.
In the women's WarGames match, Rhea Ripley, one-half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair, Bayley, Naomi, and IYO SKY will collide with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax, Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton, Raquel Rodriguez and Candice LeRae.
In a WarGames Match, two rings are surrounded by a steel cage. The matchup begins with a member from each team battling one-on-one. After five minutes, a Superstar will enter from one of the two teams. Every three minutes after that, another competitor enters, and the teams alternate until everyone enters.
Due to the match not having disqualifications, competitors can bring weapons as they step into the fray. The WarGames Match officially starts when all the participants have joined. After that, the chaos continues until one team emerges victorious by pinfall or submission.
Apart from the two WarGames matches, the 2024 Survivor Series card will also include the World Heavyweight championship match as the title holder Gunther defends his belt against Damian Priest in a one-on-one matchup.
Also on the Survivor Series card, Bron Breakker faces a double challenge in his Intercontinental Championship defence as he goes up against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser in a Triple Threat match.
Plus, the US title also will be up for grabs when the champion LA Knight makes a defence of his belt against Shinsuke Nakamura. Here is all you need to know about WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2024:
