Now, the people's champ did not make an appearance on Raw's televised edition but he sure made his presence felt twice on the show, exclusively for the live attendants. Prior to Raw kicking off on the USA Network, his music hit the arena and the crowd went nuts.

He made a grand entrance to the show to discuss a few topics including the movie. He also brought out John Cena's name to take a dig at him.

Before going towards backstage, he delivered some of his iconic catchphrases for the audience which pulled out Vince McMahon to the ring for just a few seconds.

Once Raw was over, The Rock returned to the ring, once again where he mentioned that they will be filming the segment where Paige has defeated AJ Lee to win her first Divas championship and thereby became the youngest Divas champion in the history of the company.

This led to a huge CM Punk chant in the arena. The Rock noticed it and said if they want Punk then he would immediately call him. He took out his phone and dialed Punk's number in front of the whole world.

Unfortunately, there was no response from Punk and the Rock had left a voice message to him saying,

“Hey Punk, it's Rock, this is not a joke. I'm literally calling you from the middle of the Staples Center with about 15,000 strong. I hope you can hear this, again, this is not a rib. They are chanting your name!"

Punk later responded to the incident with the following tweet:
