WWE: Top 5 rumours of this week - September 27

By Raja

Bengaluru, Sep 28: We have now gone past of the first-ever Raw-only PPV, Clash of Champions. It has left us with plenty of questions, to say the least.

So, the rumor mill is running even better. There was a shock in the WWE Universe for not seeing Triple H inside the ring help Owens directly. Rumors have an answer to it as well as it does have for the others too.

Here are top 5 of them.

Reason for Triple H's absence

As per the rumors, Triple H-Seth Rollins is being planned on a larger scale and hence the storyline will be dragged further. The absence of the Game at Clash of Champions was in sole purpose to involve Stephanie McMahon against Rollins, directly. While Stephanie did not do anything on her own she did have a smirk on her face after Owens retained. Rollins will continue as a babyface against these vendettas and Triple H might not show up before Hell in a Cell. They might square off in a match at Survivor Series.

Wyatt might get a huge match at Wrestlemania 33

Fans believe that Bray Wyatt is yet to receive a big push. For three consecutive Wrestlemania, he has been doing his jobber's task and digesting losses against legends. At next year's Mania too, he will be scheduled against the Rock in a huge match. According to the rumor mill, this will be a continuation from this year's Wrestlemania 32 where Wyatt family member, Eric Rowan lost a match in just 6 seconds to the Rock.

Luke Harper to join WWE Raw

Speaking of the Wyatt family, former Wyatt family member, Luke Harper is returning soon to action. He tore his ACL prior to Wrestlemania and got sidelined. It is rumored that Harper has been medically cleared to compete inside the ring and currently training at the WWE Performance center. He is advertised for various WWE live events from the Raw brand. Hence, he might end up being on the red brand.

Dolph Ziggler leaving WWE

Dolph Ziggler's contract as a WWE Superstar is going to end in October. With shortcomings for the umpteenth times in his career continuing, we might be seeing Ziggler having his last stint in WWE. The rumor mill suggests that No Mercy is going to be his last PPV where he is supposed to have a steel cage match for the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz.

Women to the main event in a Pay-per-view

The trend started back at last year when we saw Sasha Banks bringing the house down squaring off against Bayley in the NXT division. WWE is planning to do the same between these two in the main roster, as well. The rumor mill suggests that backstage planning is going on to make these two go against each other, again. Once Charlotte drops the title the plan comes to fruition as The Boss and the Hugger will be all set to headline a pay-per-view event.
