WWE: Triple H and Finn Balor return to in-ring action at house show

Bengaluru, Mar 11: As advertised by WWE, Triple H returned to in-ring action at a Raw-exclusive house show, last night, March 10.

The show was conducted in Buffalo, New York. A six-man tag team match was announced on the night featuring The Game.

There were no updates who are going to be Triple H's partners or opponents until the show started. So, the fans got an additional surprise when Finn Balor made his in-ring return after nearly seven months.

The match witnessed Triple H teaming up with Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens to take on the team of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor and the United States champion, Chris Jericho.

The babyface team picked up the win to the much delight of the crowd who was already thrilled with jam- packed show.

Balor was out of action ever since Summerslam 2016 was over. There were some serious speculations over his return.

Sources were unsure whether he came make it before Wrestlemania or not. Now with this appearance, it is evident that the WWE doctors have finally cleared him to compete inside the ring.

It is yet to know when WWE creative thinks to bring him on live television. It is likely that no angle has been created for him that will culminate at Wrestlemania.

He is also being kept in reserve due to uncertainty over Seth Rollins. If by any means, the Architect can't make it there then Balor might be a last minute replacement for him.

Also, it was the first outing for Chris Jericho as a babyface after Kevin Owens assaulted him brutally on Raw, a few weeks back.

His match with Owens is official at Wrestlemania after which he might take a leave from the company. His schedule to perform with his band, Fozzy is out and he will be fulfilling his commitment, there.
