New Delhi, Dec 9: WWE Live in India will be hosted tonight at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, India.

The major superstars from Monday Night Raw like Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Kane, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss and more will perform in it. As announced earlier, this is going to be a one-night supershow for the fans in the subcontinent.

A first-time ever main event match is scheduled for the fans in attendance. Triple H will take on against Jinder Mahal in a fight which is being promoted as the biggest main event in Indian history. Also, Jinder is the only Smackdown superstar to take part in the show.

Previously, the announcement of the main event consisted of another bout. Jinder Mahal was the then WWE Champion with a dominant run with the title and hence, he was expected to defend it against Kevin Owens. But, later the prizefighter was replaced by Triple H creating a dream contest for the fans.

Prior to coming to India, The Game featured in an interview with ESPN in which he disclosed how the match culminated. Apparently, the contest set up during Triple H's visit to India. In case you don't know, the COO of the company spent a couple of days in Mumbai to promote the WWE Live.

While announcing the show officially, the 14-time world champion was let known of the crowd's feelings towards Jinder Mahal. They doubted about the Modern-day Maharaja's capability of representing the WWE since it's the biggest pro-wrestling promotion in the world.

So, the veteran superstar pitted himself against the former WWE Champion in order to give him a lifetime opportunity. If he can put away the cerebral assassin of the WWE then the doubters will be forced to shut up.

Triple H also noted on the potential reaction from the crowd when he steps foot against the homeland favorite with the following quotes,

"I don't know. I'm a lot better at being the villain. It would be interesting to see when we get there. I've been cheered and I've been booed. If the fans want to support me because they have been watching me for the last 20-plus years, that's great."
