Bengaluru, Sep 27: It can eventually be the worst nightmare for the Raw creative if Seth Rollins injury turns out to be legitimate.
With the thinner roster than before and the supposed face of the brand, Finn Balor already got sidelined due to injury and now it seems that the newly appointed face of the brand is heading for the same.
Despite the injury, Rollins was able to pull out a hellacious match against the champion. He was on the verge to pick up the victory after hitting the pedigree twice but then he got screwed by Stephanie McMahon. The crowd gave a standing ovation to him once that match was over.
The injury took place after Kevin Owens connected with a gut check to Rollins and followed it with a frog splash off the top rope.
Rollins was seemingly injured by that move as he was in pain from that point onwards. He was checked by the medical staffs after heading backstage and has problems while breathing.
Doctors decided to perform an X-ray check for him and barred him from competing inside the ring. As a result, he was not allowed to get his hands on the champion, Owens nor he could confront Stephanie McMahon.
As of now, Rollins will not be able to perform inside the ring for at least two weeks from now. It is worth to mention that the next PPV for the Raw brand is the career-threatening Hell in a Cell PPV in the month of October.
WWE will not intend to take any risks with Rollins with that bad midrib since he is going to perform inside that monstrous steel structure in the Universal title re-match.
