Bengaluru, February 17: The Undertaker could take on John Cena at Wrestlemania 34 considering his health status at present is better than last year, according to reports.

The Undertaker lost his second match in Wrestlemania, to Roman Reigns last year. The Phenom left his in-ring gear inside the ring, signaling that he has retired.

Considering that this man is the perhaps the most popular superstar in the history of pro-wrestling entertainment, fans do not want it to be the end of the Undertaker, at least for now.

In the WWE Raw 25th anniversary episode, Undertaker only cut a short promo, leaving fans wanting for more.

Recently, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave an update on the status saying that a match will be reserved for the Deadman considering he is physically much better than the last year.

But, contradicting reports were received later by Bryan Alvarez, which stated that the backstage officials are also confused with the Undertaker's current status. These were his words on the last appearance at the Manhattan Center, "I know that in the company the belief is that its Undertaker vs John Cena but it may be, it may not be.”

The usual feeling was that Undertaker will start a storyline angle with John Cena at Raw 25 to set up the dream match. However, no such scene took place on that night.

If you check the following words stated by Bryan Alvarez, then it is certain that the Undertaker himself is not confident about his status right now, which is why the creative team is not getting the green signal to start the Wrestlemania angle with him,

“Here’s all I know and everyone’s not going to like this response, but I think [The Undertaker vs John Cena] is happening. But I don’t know. Until it’s official, I mean you may as well just presume that it ain’t happening. Because plans change all the time.”

At this time, we can only expect that a positive outcome will be received from the greatest performer to ever step foot in the squared circle.
