WWE: Update on why the Hardy Boyz left TNA

The Hardyz did not want to leave the company, either but they were unhappy after getting a late contract.

Bengaluru, Mar 1: Making all the speculations true, the Hardy Boyz decided to cut all the ties with Impact Wrestling, going forward.

After various sources declared that they are not supposed to renew their contract with the TNA promotion, Matt Hardy confirmed it on his official twitter handle.

It appeared to be a shock to the most of the pro-wrestling industry. Matt was considered to be in a position of creative control in the company and the separation was not understandable.

As reported by wrestlingINC.com, The Hardyz did not want to leave the company, either but they were unhappy after getting a late contract.

There were also some clauses in it which turned out to be gibberish for them. They were forced to perform in the outside bookings by TNA from which 10 percent revenue will be deducted.

Furthermore, Matt expected to be named as an integral part of the TNA creative after single-handedly writing the 'Broken' character.

Instead, the new authorities decided to bring back Jeff Jarrett alongside a new team leading to the displeasure for the prime faces of the brand.

Due to this disagreements, a report from pro wrestling sheet suggested that Matt Hardy will not be allowed his 'Broken' gimmick outside Impact Wrestling since the company has the sole ownership of this much-appreciated character.

Ever since the re-birth of the Hardyz, they were performing in and outside TNA under this persona but will have to leave it.

So, even if they sign a contract with the WWE, the fans are not likely to see them with their current personas.

Rather, they should be back as former WWE superstars. With so much popularity around the pro-wrestling circuit, they certainly don't need the 'Broken' character, anyways.

Meanwhile, the older Hardy has already hinted of returning to WWE at Wrestlemania. On April 1st, they will be performing at Ring of Honor against the Bucks of Youth.

The very next day marks this year's Wrestlemania regarding which Hardy said that he is eyeing all the tag teams in the WWE.
