WWE will not officially address The Undertaker’s retirement

Bengaluru, April 8: The WWE universe is still not over with the shock that they received last Sunday (April 2). It was the end of the greatest performer in the history of sports entertainment, The Undertaker.

Twitter reactions to Undertaker's retirement

After digesting the second loss at Wrestlemania against Roman Reigns, he decided to leave his in-ring gear inside the ring indicating it was the end of his career.

Ever since that happened, we are expecting that a farewell segment would be arranged for the Phenom. However, there was no official statement released by the WWE, later. The official social media channels of the company kept posting updates with the possible retirement of the Deadman.

This started the speculation that Undertaker might return once more when the time is right. But, that is not the case since he is scheduled to undergo a major hip surgery. His lower back portion is said to be removed completely which might not allow him to wrestle, ever again.

WWE is willing to keep the fans invested into the matter for a long time and hence they do not intend to release any further statement confirming Undertaker's retirement. It was reported by cagesideseats.com, first. This would be one of those rare occasions where a legend like him will not be given proper farewell.

Also, the company believes that the retirement moment was a perfect one. The Phenomenon known as the Undertaker came to an end with the perfect indications.

It was a proper justification to the mythical character that was brought into flesh and blood for over 26 years. The entire crowd giving him a standing ovation was nothing less than a farewell.

The Phenom is war-torn with the battles that he had over the years. Considering his age, it is not likely that he will return to compete in some more matches in the WWE. Furthermore, the WWE legends gave him send-off salutes which are not kayfabe.
