WWE Wrestlemania 34 main event match confirmed at Elimination Chamber

Bengaluru, February 26: Seven men from WWE Monday Night Raw received the chance to compete at the Elimination Chamber match, last night with the number one contender’s spot for the Universal Championship at stake.

John Cena, Roman Reigns, Elias, Braun Strowman, The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor were the marquee names from the flagship show who got this opportunity. The rumours of the winner of the the winner were quite high and it turned out to be the exact same in the form of Roman Reigns.

By eliminating the second last contestant, Braun Strowman from the match, the Big Dog won the 2018 Elimination Chamber which was his first-ever outing inside the demonic cage structure. Now, a beast will be waiting for him at Wrestlemania 34 which will also be a rematch from three years ago. It has to be noted that Reigns will main-event the biggest show of the year for the fourth year running now.

The match started with Miz, Rollins, and Balor as the first entrants. But, once Strowman came out of the cage at number 6 spot, he went berserk by delivering powerslams to all his opponents and eliminated them until he fell victim to the Big Dog.

The sequences of entries and eliminations in this match are:

• The Miz entered at number 1, eliminated by Braun Strowman powerslam

• Seth Rollins entered at number 2, eliminated by Braun Strowman powerslam

• Finn Balor entered at number 3, eliminated by Braun Strowman powerslam

• John Cena entered at number 4, eliminated by Braun Strowman powerslam

• Roman Reigns entered at number 5, won the match

• Braun Strowman entered at number 6, eliminated by double spears from Roman Reigns

• Elias entered at number 7, eliminated by Braun Strowman powerslam

With Reigns winning the contest, major storylines await him as we head towards Wrestlemania.

On tonight’s WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar will return alongside Paul Heyman to have a confrontation with the new number one contender. The advocate general for the reigning title-holder has already posted a message on Twitter congratulating the challenger as well as feeling sorry, at the same time. Tonight’s edition of the show will be hosted in Anaheim, California.
