Bengaluru, February 20: WWE Universe was hoping to see the dream match between Brock Lesnar and Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 39 after the latter threw a challenge on the latest bygone Smackdown episode.

But after how things transpired on Elimination Chamber premium live event, it's uncertain as to whether WWE wants the match to become a reality. Instead, the existing feud between two juggernaut figures from the Raw brand should continue.

As seen at the 2023 Elimination Chamber premium live event, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley competed in their 3rd singles encounter against each other.

The finishing sequence of the match saw Lashley putting Lesnar in the Hurt Lock. Lesnar couldn't break the firm hold and low-blowed his opponent to get disqualified from the match. Lashley won the match via DQ.

Lesnar was fuming about the match outcome and he went ballistic. He delivered multiple F5s to the Referee and Lashley, one through the commentary table before walking to the backstage area.

According to Fightful Select, The Beast vs. The All-Mighty feud will continue and the match finish was accordingly done. However, their 4th match isn't scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 39.

"If you couldn't tell, the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley feud is to continue down the line, but we were told it wasn't 'locked in' for Mania."

As mentioned above, Bray Wyatt said on the February 17 episode that he will be going after the winner of Lesnar vs. Lashley at the Chamber PLE. Since Lashley won the match, Wyatt should collide with him at WrestleMania 39 but the match is yet to be confirmed.

Some fans also speculated that Lesnar was booked to lose in the match as a punishment after she went off-script at Royal Rumble 2023 (he attacked a referee after Lashley eliminated him from the Rumble match which wasn't planned)

However, the source noted that there's no heat on Lesnar for last month's PLE and that his attack on the referee during Elimination Chamber was indeed planned.

That being said, WWE seemingly has things sorted out around their top attraction at WrestleMania 39 but they've also managed to keep things secret. Probably, the Raw after Chamber episode will give a hint of what's in store for the five-time 'Mania main-eventer in the imminent future.
