WWE WrestleMania 41 PLE Main Event Plans Already Underway

WrestleMania 41 will invade Las Vegas, Nevada next year with a two-night extravaganza waiting for the fans from the Allegiant Stadium. A grand main event is supposed to headline the night around which plans are already underway.

WWE recently released "WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain" documentary on its YouTube channel, featuring The Rock, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Triple H. One of the major highlights of the show was Rock's involvement at the Show of Shows.

Following the WWE-UFC merger, The Rock began talking with Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel, his decade-long business partner, about how he can bring more value to the company. This led to a probable match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

But plans didn't fall in place as The Rock pushed his return a year back to culminate in the match at WrestleMania XL. As of January 1, 2024, the main event of WrestleMania 40 on paper was Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes.

However, The Great One appeared on the first Raw episode of 2024 to test the waters for another main event option for WrestleMania XL - The Rock vs. Roman Reigns since it would be a bigger match than the previous option.

Cody's popularity and the subsequent Royal Rumble win kept the previous option intact with the dream match between Rock and Reigns being pushed back again. That being said, WrestleMania 41 seems a perfect option to host the match.

While basking in the glory of the success of The Show of Shows, it was revealed at the end of the documentary by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H that they have already begun planning for WrestleMania 41.

While nothing in particular was revealed by Hunter, The Rock noted they have marketing strategies planned for his match against Roman which would force the outside world to the WWE product since this one could become the biggest one ever.

Rock also said this would've been the "first chapter of a few", thus hinting that he might compete in multiple matches against Reigns with the first one possibly being planned for WrestleMania 41 in Vegas.
