She has received the National March 8th Red Banner Pace-Setter award and the National May 4th Youth Medal. Additionally, she was honoured with the National May 1st Labour Medal by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.
Apart from her athletic career, she has worked as deputy director of the Occupational Social Rehabilitation Department at Xiangya Bo'ai Rehabilitation Hospital in Changsha, People's Republic of China.
