Burghardt's passion for athletics started early. She joined the SV Teising club at nine years old. Her dedication to the sport has been unwavering since then. Alongside her athletic pursuits, she pursued higher education in Business Administration and Cultural Studies at the University of Mannheim in Germany.

Achievements and Challenges

Throughout her career, Burghardt has faced several challenges. She experienced backache during the northern hemisphere winter of 2019. In 2013, she sustained a fatigue fracture to her foot and had hip problems. These injuries required an 11-month break from the sport, leading her to stop competing in hurdles events.

Despite these setbacks, Burghardt's talent and determination have earned her numerous accolades. She has been named Athlete of the Year in the Upper Bavaria district of Germany multiple times.

Coaching and Mentorship

In addition to her athletic achievements, Burghardt has also contributed to the development of junior athletes. She has coached young talents at the LG Gendorf Wacker Burghausen club in Germany, sharing her experience and knowledge with the next generation.
