An started archery in grade six in 2013, encouraged by her coaches who saw potential in her physique. She has since developed into a formidable competitor.

An has also performed well in World Championships. In 2019, she secured fourth place in the Women's Recurve Team event and fifth in the Women's Recurve event in ’s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. In 2023, she finished eighth in the Women's Recurve Team and ninth in the Mixed Team events in Berlin.
