Anna Dogonadze Biography

Born in present-day Georgia, Anna represented the Soviet Union from 1988 to 1990 and Georgia from 1992 to 1997. She later moved to Germany after marrying Axel Lilkendey, from whom she is now divorced. She received German citizenship in May 1998 and represented Germany at the 1998 World Championships.

Anna credits Elena Merkulova as the most influential person in her career. Her idol is Russian gymnast Alexander Moskalenko. These influences have shaped her approach to gymnastics and contributed to her success.
