Korakaki's father has been her coach since she started. He also competed for Greece, finishing 16th in the 50m pistol at the 2011 European Championships in Belgrade. Her brother Dionysis joined her in the mixed air pistol team at the 2018 World Cup event in Fort Benning, USA, where they won bronze.
