In the 2022 World Cup held in Changwon-si, South Korea, Babuta won gold in both the Men's 10m Air Rifle and the Men's 10m Air Rifle Team events. His scores were 630.5 and 942.3 respectively. Additionally, he earned a silver medal in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Team at the 2024 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt.

Overcoming Challenges

In mid-2018, Babuta faced a serious back injury that kept him out of action for a year. This injury was compounded by dietary issues as he developed an intolerance towards gluten and lactose. Despite these setbacks, he returned to competition after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Babuta credits Dr. Narkeesh from Patiala for treating his injury in 2019. He also acknowledges his parents' unwavering belief in his recovery during this challenging period.

Future Ambitions

Looking ahead, Arjun Babuta aims to win at the Olympic Games. He has already secured a quota place for India at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by claiming silver in the 10m air rifle at the 2023 Asian Shooting Championships held in Changwon, South Korea.
