In the 2022 World Cup held in Changwon-si, South Korea, Babuta won gold in both the Men's 10m Air Rifle and the Men's 10m Air Rifle Team events. His scores were 630.5 and 942.3 respectively. Additionally, he earned a silver medal in the Mixed 10m Air Rifle Team at the 2024 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt.
