New Delhi, Dec 12: Indian 'Golden Girl' Saina Nehwal has bagged the Hong Kong Open Series title with a great comeback after her loss in Asian Games 2010. But still, she is a little away from fulfilling her dream. It's not an Olympic Gold but, an Audi A8!

India's most popular sportswoman, Saina, is fond of big cars and badly wanted to drive home an Audi A8. She told her wish to dad and wished to buy the luxurious car if she wins the Asian Games title.

But, her dad wished a different thing and promised her that he will buy a multi crore villa in Hyderabad. Her dad said that she already has two cars and there is no need for the third car and the villa would be life time gift for her.

After winning Commonwealth Games gold in Delhi, Saina headed to China for Asian Games. Unfortunately she fell at quarter finals and China's Wang Shixian won the gold. Her Asian Games gold and Audi A8 dreams slept in her heart.



With the Hong Kong Open tournament, Saina got one more chance to achieve her dream. The stage set for the grand finale and she met the Asian Games gold medalist, China's Wang Shixian.

Saina showed some lack of confidence in the first set and caught up with the pressure. Wang Shixian advanced with early points and easily dominated the set. Saina lost the first set 15-21. But she has something different in her mind.

May be the opponents underestimate her for smiles and humble nature. But she fought a long way to reach this stage. Once she told that her grandmother refused to look at her after her birth because of the inherent discrimination against the girl child. But that same girl made that family proud in front of the world.

In the second and third sets, Saina showed her real strength and courage. She didn't give a single chance to her opponent. She thrashed Wang Shixian 21-16, 21-17 to raise her fourth Super Series tittle.

Now, she is heading to achieve another milestone, World Number One. So, before that she should get an Audi A8 to give a buoyant force to bring more glory for India. Doesn't she deserve an Audi A8? We all think she does.
