Pieroni's passion for swimming led him to join the Indiana Swim Club and Sandpipers of Nevada. His academic pursuits saw him studying Biology and Spanish at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. His dedication to both academics and sports is evident in his achievements.

Training and Coaching

Under the guidance of coach Ray Looze at Indiana University, Pieroni trains with a group of postgraduate professionals. This rigorous training regime has helped him hone his skills and maintain peak performance levels.

Achievements and Injuries

In 2015, Pieroni was honoured as the Big Ten Conference Co-Freshman of the Year while swimming for Indiana University. He shared this accolade with Evan White from the University of Michigan. However, his journey has not been without challenges. In November 2021, he sustained a knee injury while lifting weights.

Philosophy and Hobbies

Pieroni lives by the motto, "Never believe that you aren't good enough. If your mind believes you can do something, your body will find a way." Outside of swimming, he enjoys playing video games, which provides a balance to his intense training schedule.
