Bob Bryan Biography

Bob began playing tennis at his parents' club in Camarillo, CA. His father, Wayne Bryan, played a significant role in his decision to pursue tennis. Both of Bob's parents are tennis instructors who taught their sons to play from a young age. By age six, Bob and his twin brother Mike were winning tournaments.

Training and Coaching

Bob has been coached by David Macpherson from Australia since 2005. He plays left-handed and has dedicated countless hours to training. The twins played four hours of tennis daily and also spent an hour on music, with no television allowed in the house.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of tennis, Bob enjoys basketball and playing the keyboard with his twin brother in 'The Bryan Bros. Band'. They have performed at various tournaments and charity events worldwide. The band even released an album titled 'Let it Rip' during the 2009 US Open.

In November 2015, Bob and Mike received the Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year Award for their work with the Bryan Brothers' Foundation.
