One of Bebe's most memorable achievements is becoming the US national champion for the first time. In 2011, she was named one of four female Scholar Athletes of the Year by the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The following year, she was honoured as the MPSF Female Athlete of the Year.

Apart from athletics, Bebe has ambitions in acting. She produced her first play, "Stay It Out Loud," in 2011 at the University of Arizona for Black History Month. Despite her fear of getting on stage, she also sang the national anthem before a Pacific-12 Conference meet.
