Recent Competitions and Rankings

In July 2024, Curry competed in the Men's 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay at Paris La Defense Arena. The United States team finished second. The event featured strong competition from teams like Great Britain, which secured first place, and Australia, which came third. Other notable teams included China and France, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.

Academic and Athletic Background

Curry graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2023. During his time at LSU, he won NCAA Championships titles in both the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events in 2022. In August 2023, Curry moved to train at the University of California (Berkeley), joining a professional group of swimmers.

Personal Interests and Family

Outside of swimming, Curry enjoys going to the beach, walking, and hiking. His family includes his father Scott, mother Amy, and sister Peyton. He speaks English and has been passionate about swimming for as long as he can remember.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, Curry aims to focus on the 100m and 200m freestyle events. His training under coach Dave Durden is expected to further hone his skills as he prepares for upcoming competitions.
