Her dedication led her to join Laudrup-Dufour Stables and Helgstrand Dressage in Denmark. She trains under coaches Kyra Kyrklund from Finland and Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein from Denmark.

Influences and Inspirations

Dufour credits her father as the most influential person in her career. She also looks up to German dressage rider Isabell Werth as her idol. Despite facing persistent back problems due to falls, Dufour remains committed to her sport.

Superstitions and Beliefs

Dufour has several rituals that she follows before and during big shows. She believes these habits help her feel safe and prevent nervousness. Her sporting philosophy is rooted in an open-minded approach, inspired by her parents' supportive attitude.

Awards and Honours

Throughout her career, Dufour has received numerous accolades. She was awarded the Olympic Hope Award at the 2016 Danish Broadcasting Corporation Sports Gala. In 2010, she received the Classic Style Award at the European Junior Championships in Germany.

Family and Personal Life

Ambitions and Future Plans

Dufour aims to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This goal reflects her continuous drive for excellence in dressage.

Challenges and Setbacks

The build-up to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro was stressful for Dufour. Transitioning from junior to senior squads and competing outside Europe for the first time added to the pressure. After the Olympics, she needed a break from riding due to burnout.

Stables and Training Facilities

Dufour previously ran Dufour Dressage at Gronagergaard stables in Roskilde but moved to Fredensborg in April 2021. She and Rasmine have since established a competition stable named Laudrup-Dufour. Despite their busy schedules, they value having a base where they can relax and spend time together.
