"Able-bodied horseback riding is very different from Para dressage. I immediately realised that I didn't like it as much," she said. She studied law at HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her national coach is Floris Goesinnen. She believes that both rowing and cycling complement each other, helping her become stronger on the bike.

"I went to the Tokyo Games for Para cycling and it was really cool. I really learned a lot but I missed something," she said. "I was looking for variety, cycling alone was not enough for me."
