Van Snick's entire family practises judo. Her father, a martial arts enthusiast, and her mother are both instructors at their club. She has two brothers who also engage in the sport. "Judo has been my dream since I was a little girl. My father was always involved in martial arts like judo, taekwondo or Thai boxing. Judo chose me," she said.

Club Affiliations and Coaching

Van Snick represents Bushido de Saive in Belgium and ACBB Judo in France. Her national coach is Cedric Taymans from Belgium. Under his guidance, she has honed her skills and achieved significant milestones in her career.

Personal Life and Interests

Outside of judo, Van Snick enjoys spending time with friends, photography, dancing, outdoor activities, cooking, cinema, music festivals, and reading. She resides in Paris with her partner Mathias Jardin, who has also represented France in judo.
