Clemente Russo Biography

Russo trains twice a day, five days a week. His regimen includes physical preparation in the morning and boxing technique in the afternoon. He is part of the Italia Thunder team and is coached by Francesco Damiani at the national level.

Russo was the flag bearer for Italy at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. His wife, Laura Maddaloni, has also represented Italy in judo. She was ranked ninth in the 57kg category at the 2005 World Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
