'A day I will never forget', says Virat Kohli after meeting Roger Federer

Brisbane, Jan 12: India Test captain Virat Kohli met tennis legend Roger Federer of Switzerland, in Australia. Kohli took to Twitter to tell his 5 million plus followers that he will not forget the day when he met Federer.

The Indian batsman today tweeted his picture with Federer. But did not mention when it was taken and where. "A Day i'll never forget. Greatness on and off the court. @rogerfederer Absolute legend," Kohli wrote on his Twitter page on Monday afternoon.

Yesterday (January 11), Federer registered his 1,000th win by clinching the Brisbane International title. It is not known whether Kohli was at the Pat Rafter Arena in Brisbane to watch Federer.

Australia Test captain Steve Smith too had earlier tweeted his picture with Federer. "It was an absolute honour to meet my favourite athlete of all time tonight. Thanks @rogerfederer and best of luck in the Australian open," Smith wrote.

Team India lost the four-match Test series against Australia 0-2 and now face the hosts and England in ODI tri-series starting this week.
