Amitabh Bachchan breaks silence after Abdul Razzaq's irresponsible remarks on Aishwarya Rai

Former Pakistan player Abdul Razzaq made an irresponsible comment about Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, which has garnered negative attention.

People across the borders slammed Razzaq for his utter nonsense when he dragged in Aishwarya Rai inappropriately amid describing a matter regarding Pakistan Cricket.

"We don't really intend to improve and enhance the players, in my opinion. That will never happen if you believe that I will marry Aishwarya (Rai) to have a good-natured and moral child. Therefore, you must first amend your intentions," Razzaq said while dissecting Pakistan's World Cup 2023 performance in a show.

Since then the former all-rounder has been hurled with criticism, and even his former teammates have also slammed him for his choice of words.

After facing such backlash, Razzaq took the sane route and apologised for his 'slip of tongue'.

"It was a slip of the tongue, I had to give another example but I took Aishwarya Rai jee's name. I apologize to everyone, please forgive me. It was not my intent [to hurt her]," Razzaq said.

And now, Amitabh Bachchan has broken silence as he shared a cryptic post on social media. The legendary actor, who is the father-in-law of Aishwarya, took to his X profile and wrote, "for this has more meaning than any printed word."

It has sparked rumours on whether Senior Bachchan's social media post was related to Razzaq's comments on his daughter-in-law. Although the real reason for his post is still ambiguous, people have speculated if it was angeled towards the former Pakistan player.

Remarkably, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has remained silent in this matter and we are yet to see her take in the entire fiasco.
